Buddy Fruits are “sealed in pouch” Apple puree. In 2008, two moms traveled from their hometowns in France to vacation with their families in America. While hitting the open road across the U.S., they found it hard to find convenient snacks that were healthy too. Meanwhile back home in Europe, convenient and healthy snacks were everywhere! And just like that a seedling of an idea was planted… These two “buddies” thought why don’t we share the squeezable fruit pouches our families love with others…And Voila! In the summer of 2009, Buddy Fruits crafted one of the first fruit pouches in the U.S.
Their fruit is responsibly sourced from family-owned orchards – most located within miles of our factory in the foothills of Virginia. And over the years, have partnered with local orchards to ensure they start with only the best fruit. In fact, their purees starts with USDA –certified Grade A fruit (some of which is USDA certified Organic). And hand-select only the best pieces – just like you would!
